There are quite a few social media pages and blogs dedicated to Black travel, but as travelers and nomads ourselves, we always find something missing...community.  Whether you're traveling solo or with others, it would be great to be able to connect with fellow Black travelers all over the world, or have curated trips organized with Black travelers in mind.  That's why we created The Black Travel Club and this site to help Black people build a community around the life-changing experience that is travel, and use our collective buying power to negotiate travel discounts on your behalf (like AAA for Black travelers).

The main reason to join is to be a part of the community we described above, and to get access to curated content to help you be a more informed traveler.  If you're a frequent traveler, you know how valuable it would be to have a network of fellow Black travelers to learn from and potentially meet up with while traveling.  In addition to the community, with this app you will be able to see if there are other members in the area.  Joining the community is free, but to become a full member of the Black Travel Club, there is a small monthly fee.  Benefits of full membership include, but are not limited to:

As frequent travelers and self-described nomads, we learned a lot of things the hard way, through countless hours of research, and as former travel agents.  We want YOU to benefit from that experience and from each other's experience.  We're stronger as a community!

Some people go on a vacation or two every once in a while and spend most of their time behind a desk.  If this is you, we can still help you.  But our goal at The Black Travel Club is really to provide experiences for people who view travel as a lifestyle.  The kind of people who get a call from a friend in another country with an invite to visit and they start looking for flights immediately.  People who would like to travel for weeks or even months at a time.  You may not be in a position to do this yet, but we want to help you get there.  This is why we'll be adding courses over time covering various ways to make money online (crypto, e-commerce, creating your own online course, real estate, etc.).  In the meantime, get you a Traveling While Black tee and represent!
